The Festival is pledging 10% of the value of all ticket sales to the Herefordshire Veteran Support Centre
The Herefordshire Veteran Support Centre was established in 2019 to provide support to the county’s large community of former military service personnel. By some estimates, around 25% of Herefordshire’s population has a connection to the military. The HVSC team and volunteers work in partnership with over 40 organisations and charities to provide vital support and service to an ever-increasing network of veterans and their families.

Engaging Local Schools in Military History
The Hereford Military History Festival is delighted to support a number of local Schools during the festival, providing a full day of enrichment and City based history. The children will hear from an author, and participate in code breaking sessions, facilitated by NMITE. The aim for year 1 of the festival is to see over 200 children engaged in the Festival activities.
